Dr. Rama Devi Gudemela –Lead Trainer, Gardinosh
Dr. Rama Devi Gudemela is a distinguished expert in child space safety and women space safety, and a noted resource person on the POSH and POCSO laws. As the founder and lead trainer of Gardinosh, she spearheads training and consultancy initiatives that support organizations and institutions in building safer, more inclusive environments. Over the course of her career, she has successfully delivered more than 100 + training programs to diverse groups of professionals on women’s and child protection laws.
She is an empaneled External Member (POSH) of Internal Committee and Local Committee of various organizations, including both corporate and government bodies, offering guidance and expertise on safety and compliance frameworks.
Her extensive work experience includes serving as an ex law academician and as a Member of the Child Welfare Committee (CWC)—a quasi-judicial district body established under Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 —where she actively contributed to case decisions and child protection interventions. She has also conducted in-depth research on child adoption laws and is the author of the book "Inter-Country Adoptions in India – Law and Procedure," which provides comprehensive insights into adoption frameworks and policy processes.
Dr. Rama Devi is a Lead Trainer on the POSH and POCSO Acts, having delivered interactive and engaging training sessions to a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including corporates, police department, Assistant Public Prosecutors (APPs), WCD Officials, Government officers, bank officials, NGOs, National Law Universities, Deemed Universities, Educational Institutions and other women and child protection agencies. She is a regular guest faculty on POSH and Child Protection Laws at Telangana Police Academy, Telangana State and MCR HRD Institute. Her ability to simplify complex legal provisions into practical, participant-focused learning experiences makes her sessions both impactful, engaging and transformative.
She is an empaneled Resource Person on the POSH Act with the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, and with She-Box from Telangana State, where she plays a critical role in supporting safety initiatives at both national and state levels.
